Edinburgh Napier University is home to forward-thinking people inspired by the world around them. With around 19,000 students the University is one of Scotland’s biggest, attracting international students from more than 100 countries.
The University has excellent links with industry – students learn from academics and industry professionals who are experts in their fields. Courses have been developed in partnership with employers and over 30 professional and statutory bodies. Experienced staff also feed their expertise into course development and teaching.

Edinburgh Napier University strives to ensure that its academic portfolio meets the needs of learners, employers and the economy. It is focused on providing education and undertaking research which is directly relevant to enabling its graduates to prosper in employment.
Edinburgh Napier is the only UK higher education institution to offer a programme, titled Confident Futures, which develops employability skills for the workplace. The University places great emphasis on fostering entrepreneurship skills and hosts an incubator space called the Moffat Centre which supports students and graduates who want to set up and run their own businesses. The Moffat Centre has supported over 1,200 students since 2004, of which 253 businesses have started up and 158 are still active.
